Eastfield Ward

Cllr Michael Wood

MikeI am Michael Wood and I live in Eastfield, Knaresborough, with my wife and two
young boys. I was born and raised in Knaresborough and we moved back two years
ago, because of the amazing community and the people of the town.
I am running for councillor because I want the people of Knaresborough to have
their voices heard, and to support what is already a thriving region full of
community minded groups. I want to promote affordable housing, support the
Liberal Democrat plan to preserve our town centre and to work for a Town Council
that puts its electorate first.
