Dear Residents

I have been your local Councillor for 28 years and over those years I have met and worked with many of you and together we have achieved a lot. It has been a privilege to have been your Councillor.

I am now asking you to support me again in the May elections, promising to continue to work hard on your behalf, as I have done over the last 28 years. For those new into the Ward I am a widow (my late husband, Reg, was also a Councillor for this area for 23 years) I had 2 children and have 6 Grandchildren. I came to live in the Ward at the age of 7 and only left when I married my husband and went with him around the world as he served in the Army, on return we set up home again in this part of our Town.

I have a great deal of local knowledge and history and have a great passion for this part of our Town. I worked until retirement in the local Pharmacy, (which relocated to Sainsbury's). As a Councillor I have been Chairman of Leisure, Mayor, represented the Council on many Local and Regional committees, including Sport England, was the Founder Member of HASAG (Hookstone and Stonefall Action Group) and at present I am the Leader of the Lib Dems on the Council.

Hopefully on May 3rd you will continue your support for me so that you have a strong, experienced, passionate, local voice on the Council.
