I have represented New Park Ward on the Council since 2004 and have been a resident of Harrogate for over 40 years. I am a hard working local councillor, community spirited, active and always willing to do my best. I have helped residents with numerous issues during my 14 year term of office. I serve on a number of council committees including the Planning and Licensing Committees and I am shadow Cabinet Member for Housing and Safer Communities.
For those new to the Ward I am married with 2 children and 5 grandchildren. I have a great passion for this part of town and a supporter of Knox Valley Residents Association, Bilton Conservation Group and a life member of Bilton Cricket Club.
I back the concerns of residents about the future of the Nidd Gorge and Greenway. I would be proud and privileged to represent the new Bilton Grange Ward.
